Welcome to The Woolpack Inn, Totford

Pub with Rooms

The Woolpack Inn is a superb country pub with rooms situated in Totford, nestled in the picturesque Candover Valley, Hampshire.  Totford is recognised as being the smallest hamlet in England whilst the Candover Valley is a renowned destination for countryside pursuits, especially for those keen on shooting, fishing, cycling and walking.

Our Grade 1 listed flint and brick inn dates back to around 1880 when it was built to provide sustenance and accommodation to travellers on the Drovers Trail between Alresford and Stockbridge.  Packed with character, it has a fabulously warm and welcoming interior, flag stone floors, roaring log fires, comfy leather chairs and a myriad of quirky accessories!

The Woolpack Inn has a well established reputation for serving irresistible food and drink.  Food that you really look forward to eating knowing that it is fresh, seasonal and better still, sensibly priced!  We offer a great range of pub classics alongside finer dining dishes plus a children’s menu made from the same great quality ingredients that are our other dishes.

We have 7 beautifully appointed double bedrooms (one of which is a suite benefitting from two bedrooms and a shared bathroom) with a heavy emphasis on home comforts, a small private dining room and plenty of outside space with a newly extended car park.

The Woolpack Inn is within easy reach of Alresford, Basingstoke, Winchester and Southampton so whether you live locally and are here for a pint, a chat and some great food, or are visiting to enjoy one of the many outdoor leisure pursuits (or simply a relaxing weekend away,) landlord Megs and his team look forward to welcoming you, your family and your dogs to sample the delights on offer at the Woolpack Inn.
